Culture:
Colombian culture has a few special elements that makes it unique. Looking at Colombian history, the Spanish colonial era has left a lasting influence throughout the country, with a high rate of Roman Catholics in Colombian society. The Spanish decimated the indigenous population here, yet many elements live on in Colombian customs, music, and language. Music is a very important part of Colombian culture, with Cumbia and Vallenato enjoyed country-wide.

Location:
Medellín is a city found in Antioquia, Colombia. Colombia is in the Northwestern corner of South America and shares its borders with Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru and Ecuador. Medellín is located at the base of the Aburra Valley and surrounded by mountains.
